This is little Taylor. We did her baby portraits, so mom & dad knew where to go when they wanted Holiday Portraits.

It was last last October when I did Andy & Rachel’s wedding photography. So, when they called and told me they had a baby on the way, I said, “That was quick.” He is one cute little guy.

Meet Elizabeth & Michael Hoefer. They were married in the gorgeous St Raphael Church in Dubuque Iowa. It is Iowa’s oldest Church built in the very early 1800’s. Here is a small sampling from their wedding.

This is Nick & Kristie. Nick wants to be a country star. He played the part very well. From the looks of him, he very closely resembles the Marlboro Man.

Now to be serious, Nick was just kidding around about the whole country music star stuff. Here are some of the real engagement pics.

When mom brought 6 month old Olivia in for her portraits, the first thing she asked was, “what can we do with her hair?” Leave it be! When babies have a bad hair day, it makes the portraits that much more precious.
Capturing candid moments at weddings is our specialty at Giraffe Photography. So, naturally, when I seen grandma pushing the stroller holding a cold beer, I couldn’t resist the urge to take the photo. After taking it I thought, this lady is awesome!

No shortage of smiles on this kids! Usually, when a kid is 2 or 3 years old, half of the photoshoot is trying to convince, or bribe a child with candy for a smile. But not this kid. She was more than happy to show off her dimples for free!
