You might have noticed we haven’t posted a whole lot on the blog recently. To be honest, we have been very swamped with wedding season coming to an end and all the seniors and babies we been photographing each week has really been adding to the work load. We even hired part time help to allow us to catch up. So, to simplify things and keep you updated we are going to start putting all posts on our Facebook Page. Make sure you add Giraffe Photography to your friends list and become a Fan of our page!
Welcome Marley!
Two Bright Blue Eyes:
To see what the future brings, the rainbow of a rising sun,
a bird flying on its wings.

Could she be a future Gap model?

Zane’s Sweet Ride
You would smile too if you had a ride like this.

Look out world I’m taking this baby out!

Wait a minute, Mom forgot to give me the keys!

You’ve Got the Cutest Little Baby Face!
What a precious Maizy face smiling up at me,
with sparkling eyes, a turned-up nose and rosy glowing cheeks!
From satin curls on top to the dimple on your chin,
what a sweet Maizy face, you always make me grin.

What a Little “Girly Girl”
Two Bright, Soulful Eyes
To see the world around me.
Two Perfect Ears
Listening to all the sounds that surround me.
Two Bow-Shaped, Ruby Lips
A tiny tiny smile to light up the world.

Always ready with a smile. This little one is definitely a baby DIVA!

Carson Turns One!

That look of surprise, that special smile…look who’s turned ONE! Such a big accomplishment for someone so small – but look out world here I come!!!
Baby Giraffe Turns 2
The say two is the hardest age to photograph, but I beg to differ. The key to success is just letting a child be him/herself. Let them roam and play, explore and just be a kid. The result will be much better portraits along with a happier kid. Along with that, don’t forget to give your child a nap before the session.

Rain or Shine, It’s Still Photo Time!
When the Lacopo family showed up for their highly anticipated photo shoot they were kind of bummed because it was raining. Fortunately, the rain stopped for about 15 minutes and we made our move. It was a bit wet outside, but the colors and lighting were awesome. Usually right after it rains the colors are more saturated and the cloudy skies not so harsh lighting. Here is a look.

Outdoor Photo Fun…
Meet 6 month old Daxton. Sometimes when we take baby photos they clam up. Make it difficult to get a smile. But with a little coaxing, even the shyest turtle will come out of his or her shell. Have a look.

It’s coming…

We got a winner!
Fun With The Barsness Family
Meet Jeff & Val. They have been bringing their baby here since she was a wee 3 months old. So when she finally turned one, they knew they should get some family portraits taken. Life goes by so fast, we have to pause and find a way to remember the past.

Kai Turns One
Little Kai finally turned one and Elaine had a fun time photographing this little guy. Usually, one is our hardest stage to photograph babies because they get very “clingly” to mom, or they put their active legs to use and run all over the place. Thankfully, Kai was all smiles. See for yourself.

Baby Michelle
We’re all so familar with Michelle’s sister. We did her baby photos last year and now its Michelle’s turn.

Had to get one with her sister!

Family Fun at Giraffe
Meet the Meyer’s family. After seeing their friends photos take at Giraffe, they knew where they wanted to go. They wanted something different, capturing their candid side, our specialty.

Caleb is Two..
And he sure has grown since we last seen him. It’s amazing how fast time goes by.

Beautiful Mommy & Me Session
I still remember photographing Colleen’s Wedding at Vanderveer a few years ago. So, I was happy to see her and her husband Steve’s beautiful baby. Just take look for yourself.
