You might have noticed we haven’t posted a whole lot on the blog recently. To be honest, we have been very swamped with wedding season coming to an end and all the seniors and babies we been photographing each week has really been adding to the work load. We even hired part time help to allow us to catch up. So, to simplify things and keep you updated we are going to start putting all posts on our Facebook Page. Make sure you add Giraffe Photography to your friends list and become a Fan of our page!
Emily – Budding Actress
Emily has been in several High School productions. You can see by the smile on her face she loves it!

Very photogenic. Always ready with a smile.

Emily had stage fright at first but not for long, who knows where her future may take her.

Senior on Location
Down on the farm with Emily pictured here with her horse Shorty. It’s a good thing they grow hay.
Shots on site are often very peaceful and tranquil.

All smiles and very photogenic.

Ellen’s Senior Pics
Meet Ellen. She and her family were referred to Giraffe by a close friend. So, wanting to try a different photographer for her second daughter’s senior portraits, she gave us call. Here’s what they got!

Kelsie’s Senior Photo’s
It’s cool to be Kelsie Poole. This is the second half of Kelsie’s Senior Photo Session and we had even more fun this time. She was very chipper and loves to laugh at the Giraffe. Well, my jokes, which are usually pretty lame. Have a look at her pics.

Amanda’s Senior Photos
This camera loves this young lady. She could totally model if you she wanted to. Take a look at what we got.

Sarah’s Senior Photos
This very outgoing Davenport Central Senior had no shortage of great smiles!

Even her serious look is stunning!

Allison’s Senior Photos
It certainly wasn’t a challenge for me to capture this very photogenic teen in the moment. Camera loves her! Take a look at some of her photos.

Katherine’s Senior Pics
This talented Bettendorf High Student participates in Volleyball, Spanish Club & School Concerts! Her great personality helped make her photo session really shine.

Emily’s Senior Pics
Meet Emily. She goes to Davenport West and at 17 works two jobs! Her session flew by and we got some really unforgettable photos of her!

Amna’s Senior Pics
After seeing her best friend’s senior photos that were taken at Giraffe, Amna knew she had to get hers done her as well. Here is a look.

It’s Senior Time
Senior season is in full gear at Giraffe Photography! If your a parent of a Senior (not senior citizen) then you’re probably starting or will be getting all the glossy postcards in the mail from different companies and lets not forget the ever bland school photographer! Trust me they haven’t gotten better. I was just looking a photo taken of me in school and I’m wearing a turqoise turtleneck and my face looks like someone just slapped me! Then the other day my neighbor was showing me their kids school senior photo, and it had the same lame background and boring pose. Kind of looks like a passport photo. Enough of that. If you want something totally different, and unique then give us a call.

Rani’s Senior Photos
Rani wanted something truly unique for her senior portraits. So instead of the plain-jane sport uniform photos that we are often asked to do (BORING);
she brought a few of her umbrellas (NOT BORING) that she collects from around the world. They really set the photos off! Take a look at her super cool, non-traditonal senior photos!

When You Want the Coolest Senior Photos….
You go to Giraffe Photography! Why? Because all of our photos are different. We don’t use corny Senior Props with a Styro-foam Cut-out of the year. We don’t pose you on plastic rocks. We don’t setup a fake fog machine so it looks like WWF World Wrestling! Your photos reflect who you are. Your personality. There is a reason why we are “A Head Above the Rest”
