You might have noticed we haven’t posted a whole lot on the blog recently. To be honest, we have been very swamped with wedding season coming to an end and all the seniors and babies we been photographing each week has really been adding to the work load. We even hired part time help to allow us to catch up. So, to simplify things and keep you updated we are going to start putting all posts on our Facebook Page. August 29, 2009 – Elaine’s Wedding
Jeff and Naomi Jones were married at Rivermont Collegiate located in Bettendorf, Iowa. Rivermont Collegiate is a beautiful historical mansion. Jeff and Naomi were a fun and easy to work with couple. Here are a couple of my favorites.
August 22, 2009 – Elaine’s Wedding
Meet Sebastian & Natalie Escobar. Their wedding and reception were held at the Radisson in downtown Davenport. Super convenient for us photographers, as we don’t have to travel far to get great photo ops.

Meet Katie & Austin Banks. Following a brief ceremony, we headed for Rock Island where their reception was being held, at Blackhawk Lodge.
August 15, 2009 – Stephen’s Wedding
Josh & Kristi Francis were married at Old St. Anne’s in Long Grove, Iowa on one of the hottest & most humid days we’ve had this year. After weeks of cool weather I got a taste of summer. Following the ceremony we heading to Buffalo, Iowa for their reception.
August 1, 2009 – Elaine’s Wedding
Elaine had a nice time working Jennifer & Brian Overington. Originally from North Carolina, they decided to have their wedding in the Davenport at St. Paul’s with the Reception following at the Figge. Here is a look at their fun and exciting day.

Meet Amy & Todd Ruckoldt. Former members of our baby Giraffe Club, they knew they wanted to use our services again for their wedding photography. Jeff had a nice time working with them creating beautiful photos of their big day.

Emily & Andrew Christians had a lovely ceremony at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Their reception was held at the Davenport Country Club which was photographer heaven. Tons of great photo ops!
July 25, 2009 – Stephen’s Wedding
Andy & Ashley Sigwalt were married at St. Malachey’s in Geneseo, Illinois. After the wedding, we stopped at a local Park in town to get some great outdoor portraits. Here is a look.

Jeff had the pleasure of working with Frankie & Melanie McQuay. Their ceremony & reception was held at the Holiday Inn in Rock Island. Here is a small sample of their day.

Elaine had a great time working with Danielle and Andy Kuhl. Their wedding was held at St Annes in Long Grove, Iowa. After the ceremony, they made a stop at a family members farm for some more great photo ops.

Matt & Jessica Berlinger were married at Augie Chapel in Rock Island. They opted to do a moment alone before the ceremony which freed up a lot of time for portraits. The nice thing about doing things this way is you won’t be as nervous before the ceremony and your guests will not be waiting as long for you to show up to the reception.
July 11, 2009 – Elaine’s Wedding
Meet Brandon & Arin Botsford. Their wedding was held at St Ambrose Chapel, right down the street from our house making it an easy drive for Elaine. Reception followed at the Rogoski Center.
July 4, 2009 – Elaine’s Wedding
Meet Sarah Todd, er, Long. She and Jason were also married over the 4th Holiday. Sarah works on the weekends as one of our wedding assistants. Roberto & Jennifer Alvarado were married on the 4th at Old St. Annes. One of my favorite locations to go! Photo ops are endless here and there is never a shortage of great photo ideas.
